Rules

First and foremost, this community is about icons, and how bad they are. This community is NOT about the people behind the icon. Let's not make this too personal, ok?

Cosplay icons are acceptable, but please, don't comment on the person's physique. It's just not nice.

Sailormoon Icons and "Friends Only" banners only. No layouts.

Credit the icon maker, because even crap art deserves credit.

When posting, please be sure to link or make an img src tag to the horrible icon in question.

No flames. Be intelligent in your slamming. "OMG WTF TEH ICONZ IS SUXXORZ!" Isn't funny or witty.

One strike, you're out.

We're not stealing icons. We're not going to the icon-owner's journal. Do not harrass the LJ user whom owns the icon. TiaraEnvy is not a springboard for trolling.

TiaraEnvy does not violate LJ ToS, so don't even try that.

If you feel the need to flame the community, please don't use fallacies, insults, or claim crap. We realize we didn't give our contact info. Good for us. On the internet you should expect two things: Anonymous ridicule, and porn.

Don't poke at people's typing or spelling skills. It's trite and something that could go on and on until we're blue in the face.

Remain on topic. I can't stress this enough. Off topic posts will be deleted, and you run the risk of being banned.

"Help! I mocked an icon, now I'm being flamed!" If you can't handle backlash, don't post here.

"I don't see the point of this community." Good for you. It's for fun. Sure it's petty, but so what?

Do your 'reasurch'! If you're unsure who made the icon, just post 'used by(LJ User)' instead of 'made by'.

Don't mock your own user icons. That kind of kills the point. We might get to you eventually.

"How do I get my icons mocked! I want my icons mocked!" We'll get to you eventually. You can either AIM us and ask, or post urls. Also, you yourself can mock any icons or FO banners you'd like.

When mocking, please upload a copy of the icon onto a photobucket.com account or a tinypic.com account as not to steal bandwidth.
